Hi fellow makers

My Sussex Seamstress Firle coat is all cut out. I'm really excited to make this coat. I've done my research on how to sew with boiled wool. Jo from Minerva has a fab video on the Minerva YouTube channel. I've watched the free Firle tutorial on Sussex Seamstress channel, also on YouTube.

I love the colour of the boiled wool. It's beautiful. Vety much a colour i love. It does beautifully with the viscose twill fabric I have paired it with. It's such a pretty fabric and i hope great for the lining.

I appreciate we're moving into spring. It's still cold. My coat should still get plenty of wear. I'm making this coat to keep for many years. So it really doesn't matter when it's made.
