Here’s a quick little video of the fabric I have just received for my next project. It’s a beautifully soft and drapey peachskin crepe by John Kaldor. As you would expect from John Kaldor, the quality is just superb. 💗

I’ve seen some skirts on the interweb made from Peachskin with a Velcro fastening – simple, quick, comfortable and easy to wear and perfect for the beach. (I have an upcoming holiday to Bali, which this style of skirt will be perfect for!!). I don’t want to mention the brand name of the skirts here, but I plan on ‘trying’ to copy/draft a pattern myself to emulate the style of skirt they have. Fingers crossed!!

There were delays with the post, so I’m running a little behind schedule … I’m also going away this weekend for a week’s vacay at the best …. so it won't be made for this trip. I hope to have the skirt finished when I get back and definitely before I head away to Bali.
